Morpheus8 RF

Morpheus8 RF

Morpheus8 combines radio frequency and micro needling to address multiple skin concerns. By reaching far beyond the epidermis, we can begin to heal the skin from the inside out.

The needles create microscopic channels in the skin, which allow the radio frequency energy to penetrate more deeply into the tissue. This results in more comprehensive collagen remodeling, leading to long-term improvements in skin quality.

MORPHEUS8 CAN IMPROVE:

  • Scars
  • Stretch Marks
  • Laxity
  • Deep wrinkles
  • Pitted Acne Scars
  • Skin texture

Before and After

Morpheus8 is one of the most advanced technologies available today. On its own, microneedling can be an effective way to improve skin texture and appearance, but the addition of radiofrequency energy helps to boost results. Morpheous8 uses a process to trigger our bodies healing response and stimulate the regeneration of tissue to not only trigger a collagen increase but to remodel the tissue to thicken and tighten the skin.

Morpheus8 delivers the deepest fractional treatments available, penetrating subdermal tissue up to 8mm (7mm + 1mm thermal profile).

FAQ's

Morpheus is radio frequency Microneedling. It can take care of a whole bunch of skin ailments. It can fix active acne, as well as active scars. It will treat stretch marks. It helps with building collagen, tightening skin, and treating cellulite, and it can also kill fat.

It is important for two weeks prior to discontinue using Retinol, or any products on the skin that could be really irritating. Also, it’s a good idea to avoid blood thinners for about three days beforehand, if it’s possible. That’s going to help reduce the chance of having bruising from the treatment. On the day of treatment, you want to show up to your appointment without any makeup on, and with completely clean skin.

The treatment itself does have a little bit of discomfort to it, but with the topical numbing, it’s very tolerable. Sometimes you have to remember, if you want to make these improvements in your skin, there is going to be a little bit of discomfort and a little bit of downtime.

So immediately after treatment, the skin is going to be really red and we have these micro openings. Especially these little tiny holes, where we did the treatment. It takes about three days for those to heal, and the skin is going to be very red during this time. You’ll have to cover it with Aquaphor to protect it, and then you’ll start using mineral sunscreens like Zinc or Titanium Dioxide, and avoid all chemical sunscreens. It can take two to three weeks for the redness to completely go away, and you can get back to your normal routine of skin care after about three days.

With Morpheus, it’s going to help with collagen induction, and creating more collagen, and that takes time. You also want all the skin cells to turn over, which also takes time. So, it is going to be about three to six months after your last treatment, that you’re going to see your final result.

Immediately, the skin is going to be really red. You are going to want to protect your skin from anything getting into these little tiny micropores. So, you will leave nothing on it but Aquaphor. That night, your skin is still going to be really red, and a little bit swollen. You will wash your face with a gentle cleanser, and then apply a light amount of Aquaphor across the face. The next day, you can use sunscreen, but it must be a physical sunscreen. So, what’s that?- Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. You don’t want to use other sunscreens, because there are going to be too many chemicals that we do not want absorbing into the skin. For the first three days, you want to avoid any excessive heat, and avoid working out. Try to stay indoors and out of the sun. After day three, you can start applying makeup and you can go back to your normal skincare routine. You want to wait at least a week to apply any retinol, glycolic acids, or anything that’s going to be an irritant to the skin.

So with Morpheus, there are a couple of different handpieces. There is one that’s specifically for the body, where the needles are longer. Why is this important? We need a longer needle if we actually want to kill fat cells. It is called Apoptosis – cell death. The radiofrequency from the microneedling with the Morpheus when we go at larger depth is actually going to permanently kill some of the fat cells. The handpiece that is meant for the face has a bunch of different tips that we can use. We can use a resurfacing tip, that is going to be really good for skin texture. The other one is the traditional tip, which is going to be great for tightening the skin, acne scars, and just overall skin health.

When you are picking a provider to do your Morpheus, it is really important to say: What is their education? What are their credentials? What is their experience and their results? So somebody who is new to doing Morpheus is probably not going to be using very aggressive settings they are not going to be comfortable with it, or they will risk giving a patient a burn so going somewhere where they have a lot of experience and have done a lot of treatments that’s where you are going to get your best outcome.

Almost any age is going to see some improvement. Typically, patients are going to be in their thirties and above, that are wanting to see a little improvement in their skin. It can also be done with younger patients for maintenance. A great patient is somebody who might be in their forties, who is not quite ready for a surgical correction, such as a facelift or a neck lift but wants to see their skin be a little tighter. After a series of Morpheus treatments, they will see quite a great result from that.
